Good Legs is a personal project by Patrick Rachford. It is not a commercial service, an LLC, or a medical product. By signing up you agree to the points below. They are short on purpose.

01

What you're using

Good Legs reads your cycling power data, runs a deterministic diagnostic over it, and generates a 12-week training plan with Zwift-importable workouts. It adjusts based on weekly check-ins. It is best understood as a smart friend with a spreadsheet, not a credentialed coach or a doctor.

02

Not medical advice

The verdicts, plans, nutrition targets, and overtraining warnings in Good Legs are training-load calculations, not medical recommendations. They don't replace a doctor, a physiotherapist, a registered dietitian, or a USA Cycling-certified coach. If you feel injured or unwell, stop training and talk to a professional.

You ride and train at your own risk.

03

No warranties

Good Legs is provided as is. There is no guarantee it will be available, accurate, or fit for any particular purpose, including making you faster. The coach can be wrong. The data sources can drop or shift. If something blows up, the practical remedy is: stop using it, delete your account, and email us. The legal remedy is capped at zero dollars because this is not a paid product.

04

Who can use it

You need to be 16 or older. If you're under 18, get a parent to read this page with you. If you're under 16 you can't use it; if you signed up anyway we'll delete the account when we find out.

05

Acceptable use

Don't:

  • Sign up using data that isn't yours. The diagnostic is anchored to one rider; mixed-rider data corrupts it.
  • Try to extract other users' data, probe the auth flow, or otherwise poke at the boundaries. The row-level security will stop you and we'll boot the account.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the verdicts, plans, or workouts as your own product. Use them yourself, share with training partners, do whatever you want personally.
  • Use Good Legs to evade Strava's, intervals.icu's, or Baseten's terms of service. We have to play nice with all three for this to keep working.
06

Your data, your account

Your power data, profile, verdicts, and plans belong to you. We store them so the product can work. See Privacy for the details, including how to delete everything.

We may use anonymized, aggregated data from the platform to improve the diagnostic (for instance, to fine-tune a future model on anonymized verdicts). We don't share individually identifying data with anyone outside the providers listed in the Privacy policy.

07

Third-party services

Good Legs reads from Strava and intervals.icu, sends email through Resend, runs auth and storage on Supabase, and runs language-model inference on Baseten. Those services have their own terms; using Good Legs means you accept theirs in the parts that touch you.

08

Pricing

Free for early riders, no credit card. If paid tiers arrive, you'll get clear notice and the chance to opt out before any charge.

09

Ending it

You can delete your account any time from Settings. We can terminate accounts that violate the acceptable-use list above, or shut the project down entirely with reasonable notice if it stops being sustainable to run.

10

Changes

If these terms change in a way that affects you materially, the date at the top updates and you get an email before the change goes live.

11

Contact

Questions, complaints, anything else: patrick@goodlegs.app. You'll hear back from a human.
